This new construction project expanded the Winnebago County public services and provided additional governmental and law enforcement services for the area. This building include a 1,212-bed jail and accessory laundry, kitchen, medical, and dental services for 
inmates. It also houses the county’s courthouse, Judicial Affairs, Sheriff’s Department, administrative offices, and a firing range. I worked in collaboration with government officials, community members, and various consultants to design the exterior and interior, coordinate programing, and understand the safety implications of inmate housing in a public service building.
